GermanTech MotorWorks, LLC is owned and operated by Jeff Byrn and John Kephart, both of which have more than 20 years of German Automotive Experience consisting of Performance, Maintenance, Repair, and Dealership Management. They both have a true passion for the automotive business and are both “car guys”! John Kephart is a Level 1 Master Technician, including Hybrid and EV cars. He spent 11 years at Sam Swope BMW and has more than 9 years of experience in local independent BMW Shops. He serves the role as Shop Foreman ensuring that your vehicle is fixed right the first time upholding quality and performance standards. He prides himself in offering a complete package of services and advice to help our customers achieve their goals with their cars. Jeff Byrn started working on European and Japanese cars in the 90’s but found himself most comfortable working in the Parts and Service Departments and spent 15 years in Fixed Operations Management at Sam Swope BMW; now BMW of Louisville.
